Neo First Step

The First Step is our entry level system. Built on the same frame as the NEO Compact, the NEO First Step uses stepper motors instead of servos, acme screws instead of ball screws, and a less powerful spindle. These changes make for an extremely well priced system. The trade off is that the First Step is only capable of cutting wax and other light materials. It is also a little slower than the other mills we carry.

For the smaller custom studio that only needs to cut wax this can be the ideal entry into the profitable world of CAD/CAM manufacturing. As is true of all of our systems, the NEO First Step is bundled with ArtCAM JewelSmith at no additional charge.

Don't let the low price deter you. Nearly all of the competitors machines in the tabletop class are similarly configured. Many of the others are priced thousands more and don't include design software.
